Muhammad Imran, a passionate researcher in Materials Science and Nanotechnology, specializes in Energy Storage Technology, contributing through research, publications, and mentorship.
Muhammad Imran began his academic journey at Government College University Faisalabad, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics. During this time, he developed a keen interest in Energy Storage Technology and acquired hands-on experience with various characterization techniques such as X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Galvanostatic Charge-Discharge (GCD), and Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis). These skills laid the foundation for his future research endeavors.
Building on his expertise, he pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Solid State Physics at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Here, he worked at the Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, where he further refined his research capabilities and contributed to cutting-edge advancements in Energy Storage Technology. His work focused on the development and characterization of novel materials for energy storage applications, leading to significant findings in the field.
Muhammad Imran has published two impactful research articles, with three more submitted, establishing himself as an emerging researcher in Energy Storage Technology. His work focuses on enhancing material properties for improved supercapacitor and battery performance. He is also working on Li-ion and Na-ion batteries.
Beyond publications, he has also presented his findings at international conferences, contributing to global scientific advancements in energy storage.
Apart from his research, Muhammad Imran mentors aspiring graduates, helping them secure fully funded MS and Ph.D. positions worldwide through LinkedIn. His guidance empowers young researchers to advance in materials science and energy storage.
